Maryland-in-London

Maryland-in-Haifa
Spend a semester in a city where you can experience Israel’s rich and diverse mosaic of cultures. There is an opportunity to earn 4 credits through an internship experience in many fields including health services, archaeology and psychology.

The University of Maryland is a member of USAC, offering study abroad programs in 39 locations in 25 countries. Auschwitz Jewish Center
The Bridge to History program offers college graduates and graduate students the opportunity to learn first-hand about the rich, vibrant life of Jews in pre-War Poland, and develop projects and conduct programs on behalf of the Center. The intensive 6 week summer program includes a one week orientation in New York City and five weeks in Poland including travel to Krakow, Warsaw and Oswieicm among other places. Participants will work on projects related to relevant topics. Scholars receive a stipend and are compensated for all housing and related travel expenses.

German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)- German Parliament Internship Program
Two month internships in the National German Parliament.
German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)- RISE Program
Offered by DAAD in cooperation with science organizations in North America and Germany for undergraduate students from the US and Canada in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth Sciences and engineering. Students apply for a summer research internship in Germany and have the opportunity to be placed with research groups at universities and top research institutions across Germany. RISE placements provide students the opportunity to live and work in an international context, to gain confidence in their practical and theoretical skills, and to improve their (or begin learning!) German.
German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)- Summer Journalism Internship Program
Summer academic internship program in Berlin consisting of two complementary segments of study, project work and journalism related internship.
U.S. Commercial Service- UK
Unpaid internship position in London at the U.S. Embassy for international business, business administration or marketing majors (other majors considered). Eligible applicants include students who are available for a minimum of three months, able to work for a minimum of four full days per week, enrolled in an academic program and be in possession of a U.S. or a U.K passport.
Institute for International Education
Internships in the IIE office in Mexico City where students will answer questions regarding the American educational system and develop their own special projects. Internships are for two months, though longer internships can be arranged. Interns should have completed at least three years of college, have good Spanish language skills and an interest and knowledge of Mexican history and culture.
