The Institute for Global Chinese Affairs is the only university-based comprehensive training institute for Chinese professionals in the United States.
 
IGCA provides non-degree training for Chinese leaders who work to advance public welfare.  Drawing on expertise built through designing training courses only for executives and administrators from Greater China, IGCA marshals the academic and institutional resources of the University of Maryland and the Washington, D.C. region to help China reach its development goals and to promote stable U.S.-China relations. 

IGCA also serves as a consultancy on China initiatives and provides translation services for public educators in support of its training programs.
