Regional Resources

MCI works closely with UM scholars and experts in various fields, including Public Policy, Management, Education, Public Health, Engineering, Urban Planning, and English-Language Training. The University of Maryland colleges of Law, Medicine, and Social Work, located in Baltimore, also provide program support.

Located within the capital beltway, MCI enjoys close connections with federal government. The Departments of Commerce, Housing and Urban Development, Agriculture, and Labor regularly contribute to MCI programs.

State and local institutions also play a major role in the success of MCI programs. The Maryland Secretary of State, Maryland Higher Education Commission, Maryland China Business Council, Prince George's and Montgomery Counties, the City of College Park and many other institutions often host MCI groups.
