International Service Award

The Office of International Programs is soliciting nominations for the fifteenth annual DISTINGUISHED INTERNATIONAL SERVICE AWARD, to be presented at our International Day event in November 2007.

The award is designed to recognize significant contributions to the University during the past few historic decades when international programs were being developed for the first time on our campus. Nominations are being solicited from all members of the College Park faculty and administration.

The main criteria for selection are: one or more significant contributions to the development of international institutional programs at College Park and a distinguished international career.

The nomination should include a letter addressing reasons why your nominee should receive the award and bio-data outlining the major accomplishments of the nominee. We would appreciate receiving your nomination as soon as possible but no later than April 20, 2007.
