Just Go Away...Spring 2009!
It is not too late to apply to one of Maryland's programs in London, Australia, Spain, France, and Berlin. Preferred deadlines begin October 1 so don't delay and miss out on your chance to Think Outside Your Borders!

IT IS NOT TOO LATE! Apply for a Winter Term Program TODAY! We are still accepting applications for the following programs this winter: Chile, Ecuador, Spain, Australia (Engineering), Grenada, Mexico, Morocco, Dubai, and Egypt. Winter term is the perfect time to Think Outside Your Borders!

Considering teaching English in Japan? Come to an information session about the Japanese Teaching & Exchange Program (JET) on Friday, October 17 from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm in the All Purpose Room in St. Mary's Hall. JET is sponsored by the Japanese government and is the largest program for English instructors in Japan. JET participants teach English in Japanese public schools and a small percentage of participants also work in local government offices on international relations projects.

Help Us Celebrate! International Education Week is November 17 - 21, 2008 and we need YOU to help make it a success. Join us for food, performances, raffles, and prizes at the Opening Celebration on 11/17 from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm in the Grand Ballroom Lounge in the Stamp. If your student group has a cultural performance or poster to offer, contact Rebecca McGinnis at rmcginni@umd.edu.
