Kendall Study Abroad Scholarship
The goal of this scholarship is to provide new international study opportunities for undergraduate students. The award may be applied to study abroad during any term: winter, summer, semester or full year.
Preference will be given to applicants based on the following considerations:
- First-time international experience.
- Demonstrated financial need as documented by a FAFSA.
- Transfer students to the University of Maryland from Maryland community colleges.
- Grade point average.
- Relevance of study plan for academic plan and career goals.
Applications will be received twice a year and will be reviewed by a committee consisting of a member of the Office of Undergraduate Studies, a faculty member of an academic department and a member of the Office of Study Abroad. The application includes an essay. Recipients of funds commit to submitting a report after their return on their experience and the benefit to their academic and professional pursuits.
