Short Term Study Abroad Programs can help you enrich your college experience. Here are just a few highlights of Maryland's programs:
- Maryland Faculty from all disciplines design and lead courses for up to 25 students
- Both UM and non-UM students are eligible to apply.
- Programs available in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean
- Earn between 3 and 6 credits towards your major, minor, CORE, or other graduation requirements
- Most programs award resident credit, meaning that the grades do figure in to your Maryland GPA
- Students currently receiving financial aid can apply for partial scholarships
- Pay program fee through your student account
- Study Abroad Office coordinates the logistics
