Ever wanted to spend a Summer studying colonialism with Maryland faculty - in Cameroon?  Dreamed of exploring Mayan culture in Belize during Winter Term? 

Short Term Study Abroad Programs can help you enrich your college experience.  Here are just a few highlights of Maryland's programs:

• Maryland Faculty from all disciplines design and lead courses for up to 25 students 
• Both UM and non-UM students are eligible to apply.
• Programs available in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean 
• Earn between 3 and 6 credits towards your major, minor, CORE, or other graduation requirements
• Most programs award resident credit, meaning that the grades do figure in to your Maryland GPA 
• Students currently receiving financial aid can apply for partial scholarships
• Pay program fee through your student account 
• Study Abroad Office coordinates the logistics
