Dr. Ann Battle is the Assistant Director for the Institute for Child Study and the Director of the Department of Human Development’s Graduate Program for in-service teachers. Dr. Battle’s teaching and research interests focus on the translation of research on child and adolescent development into classroom practice for teachers and methods for school improvement. In the course, she will use an ecological theoretical framework to help students analyze and interpret their observations of diverse educational settings abroad.

Aggie is the Coordinator for Short Term Programs in the Study Abroad Office at the University of Maryland. She coordinates all logistical aspects of the Winter and Summer programs. Aggie is available to discuss the program with any interested applicants.
