  • ARTH489Z or ARTH489H (Honors)

The Art in London course takes advantage of the museums and galleries of London by incorporating museum- and gallery-based class sessions into the curriculum. The course is intended to provide students with access to the great collections of the BritishMuseum, the National Gallery, the Tate Gallery and a number of smaller galleries. The curriculum provides a historical framework, provides students with a critical vocabulary, and focuses on the work of a number of individual artists, including Blake, Turner and Moore.
