Courses at RMIT University

The University of Maryland has a full year exchange program to RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, for the following majors:

• Business
• Communications
• Engineering   
• Journalism

All exchanges offer selected students an excellent opportunity to study courses in their respective major and electives in a number of subject areas, including Australian society.

Once applications are received, Pernille Levine, coordinator of exchange programs, will make an admissions decision. Students will be notified via e-mail of their acceptance or rejection into the program.

Transfer Credits

At the end of the semester, all grades earned in Australia will appear as transfer credit on each student’s University of Maryland transcript. All accepted students must discuss their course selections with their academic departments in order to determine how courses taken at RMIT will count towards graduation requirements.
