Options for Non-Maryland Students

Several University of Maryland study abroad programs -- semester, year-long, summer, and winter -- are open to students registered at other institutions, including other University System of Maryland (USM) campuses.

• The same policies and procedures apply to all students, regardless of whether you are currently registered at the University of Maryland.
• All undergraduate students, regardless of residency, pay the same published program fee for the above programs.
• Non-Maryland graduate students only pay $75 more than the published program fee.

Non-Maryland students are not required to meet with a UM Education Abroad Advisor, but are encouraged to contact us with any questions about the programs or applications.
