Transfer Credit

At the end of the semester, DIS sends a transcript for each student to the University of Maryland. The University of Maryland applies DIS credits to participants' UM transcripts. All UM students must discuss their course selections with their academic departments in order to determine how courses taken in Denmark will count towards graduation requirements. It is the responsibility of all non-UM students to obtain academic approval from an advisor at their home institutions. Non-UM students are required to be in touch with an advisor from the Study Abroad Office at their home institutions.
