Italy: Summer Architecture Program in Rome

ARCH 448/648r AND ARCH 478/678r (6 credits)

May 27 - July 9, 2008

Important: The deadline for this program is Monday, February 11, 2008!

The Summer Architecture Program is mostly located in Rome, where the streets and squares of the Eternal City form the classrooms in which the students and faculty study the history of the city and learn the design principles of its architecture. Florence, Venice, Vicenza and Como mark the highlights of the study-tour portions of the summer in Italy program.

All students must be architecture majors and must have passed both Level One architecture studios. Students will enroll in two courses for a total of 6 credits. Coursework will be supplemented by twice-weekly history lessons on great Italian architects.

For more information on the program, including previous student work, please visit the Architecture department's website.
