Toiletries & Personal Appliances

General Tips:

  • Coordinate with your flatmates what you need, then purchase them in the UK.  Your equipment will have been manufactured for use with the UK electric system, and you can share commonly used items such as hair dryers and straighteners
  • Bring the toiletries you use, and in large quantities. You will avoid having to find and pay for them in London, and at the end of your time abroad, you can throw out the little that's left and have extra space in your luggage

Look for these stores while in London (similar to CVS or Walgreens):

  • Tesco
  • Argos
  • Boots (also supplies prescription drugs)
