Program Dates: July 19 - August 8, 2008
- Second week of January: Summer application form available
- February 15, 2008: Summer Term Scholarship application deadline
- Last day to apply: Tuesday, April 1, 2008
- May 5 or 6, 4.30p, ARM0135: General pre-departure orientation (attend only one)
- Spring semester 2008: Program specific pre-departure orientation (TBA)
- July 19, 2008: Group flight departs US
- August 8, 2008: Program end date
- August 8, 2008: Group flight departs the UK and returns to U.S.
Program Costs
2008 Program Fee: $3,600 includes
- tuition (3 credits)
- full room & board (PLS NOTE: Most study abroad programs do not include all meals, but this program does)
- in-country transportation
- excursions & entry fees
A $30 application fee is due with the application. If admitted to the program, a $270 non-refundable deposit will be charged to the student's UM account or billed to non-UM students. The remainder of the program fee will be charged to the enrolled students' UM accounts in April or billed to non-UM students.

*The study abroad office will suggest a group flight itinerary that each student is responsible for purchasing directly from a travel agent. Although flight costs are not guaranteed and will vary, we estimate round-trip airfare for this program from the Washington, DC area will be approximately $1,000. Once admitted, you should expect to purchase the flight for the program a few weeks later, usually in mid-March.
