The estimated costs for round-trip airfare from the Washington, DC area will be approximately $500. Once admitted, you should expect to purchase the flight for the program a few weeks later, usually in mid-October.
Application fee and deposit:
A non-refundable $30 application fee is due with the application. Applicants understand that if admitted to the program, they are responsible for paying a non-refundable $270 deposit. This deposit, non-refundable under any circumstances, will be charged to the student's UM account or billed to non-UM students.
The remainder of the program fee will be charged to the enrolled students' UM accounts in November or billed to non-UM students.
