Program Costs

Tuition

Students pay their regular in-state tuition during their semester abroad.

EFFECTIVE SPRING 2009: All students participating in a Maryland Exchange Program will be charged a $250 Study Abroad Exchange fee per semester.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

Participating students will receive a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The scholarship will cover travel, room & board and additional personal expenses (up to $3,500 for the semester). Funds of up to $1,000 are also available for additional and/or intensive language study in Portuguese.
