How to Apply
Given that admittance to winter programs is competitive and space is limited, early application is advisable. Faculty Directors will decide to admit, waitlist, or not admit students on a rolling basis. Priority will be given to students in the College Park Scholars Public Leadership Program. The curriculum is designed for students who are highly motivated, both academically and personally, and who are seeking to engage actively in the challenges of a new learning environment.
Please be aware that decisions will not be made on a daily basis, so you should expect a delay between when you submit an application and when you receive notification. You may also be asked to interview with the faculty member directing the program or with a study abroad advisor.
Students are expected to attend all pre-departure meetings and complete the required readings prior to departure. While in the country and upon return students will be expected to complete all assignments outlined in the syllabus.
Students will enroll eitiher in PUAF 359T/ PUAF 798T: Public Leadership in Non-U.S. Cultures, CPSP 379P: Morocco: Culture and Human Rights - A Public Leadership Perspective, or UNIV 318P: Morocco Culture and Human for three credits. This course satisfies Human Cultural Diversity [D] CORE, Distributive Studies.
