Study Abroad in Spain at the University of Sevilla
Based at the University of Sevilla's Institute of Languages, the Sevilla program is open to all UM students, as well as students from other accredited American universities. Students on the program take two Spanish language courses and two modules taught in English. In order to qualify for the program, applicants must have completed one year of college-level Spanish (or the equivalent).
The Sevilla program is only available for the Fall Semester.

A beautiful and ancient city on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, Sevilla has a temperate climate and a rich cultural life. Sevilla is known for its Moorish palaces and renaissance gardens, flower-decked patios, paintings, statues, bull fights, art collections, flamenco dancing and music. Throughout the semester, students on the Maryland-in-Sevilla program will have the opportunity to attend a number of local cultural attractions. In addition, the program sponsors weekend excursions to nearby towns, such as Córdoba and Grenada.
