When is the best time to study abroad? 

There is no "right" time to study abroad.  It will depend on your academic major and minor, and other factors in your life outside of school.  Meet with an academic advisor as soon as you know you want to study abroad to incorporate it into your 4-year plan.  You can study abroad as soon as the winterterm of your freshman year and can go on a summer program even after you have graduated.
